The Storm Within
La fin de 1799 s'annonce clémente pour une famille québécoise sans histoire. Pendant que papa est en visite chez un voisin, sa femme Espérance s'occupe des trois enfants tout en préparant les festivités du réveillon. On cogne soudainement à sa porte. Un capitaine anglais fait irruption avec quelques soldats, dont un qui est blessé sérieusement. La jeune femme devra en prendre soin, repousser les avances insistantes de deux invités indésirables et chercher un moyen de mettre en sûreté sa progéniture. Cependant, lorsqu'elle apprend que ses invités ont assassiné son mari, le sang risque de couler...
