Martin est solitaire. Raillé depuis toujours à cause de son handicap mental, il vit reclus avec sa mère dans un piteux appartement de la banlieue de Londres. La nuit, il travaille dans un parking souterrain, encore plus sombre et sinistre. Pour échapper à son existence, Martin se perd dans l’univers du film The Human Centipede. Il en connaît tous les détails sur le bout des doigts. Au point d’acquérir les connaissances nécessaires pour surpasser l’incroyable expérience que le Dr Heiter réalise dans son film préféré: relier 12 personnes avec le même tube digestif et ainsi créer un gigantesque mille pattes humain.
